Solgen Energy's commitment to quality and value is reflected through careful selection of its partners. The relationships that Solgen Energy has forged with its partners, listed below, combine to ensure that we can deliver the best possible value proposition in the market to our customers.schott Solar LogoSCHOTT Solar is among the world´s leading fully integrated manufacturers of PV wafers, cells and modules. With 50 years of experience, SCHOTT offers reliable PV solar electricity modules for almost any kind of application. High yield and quality are the hallmarks of SCHOTT’s solar modules.

SCHOTT solar are renowned for their industry leading elegant and attractive solar modules. However the real appeal of SCHOTT’s technology lies within SCHOTT’s team of engineers and professionals who are responsible for designing modules to consistantly provide high energy yield over time.  Independent studies by institutes and technicians across the global markets have confirmed SCHOTT’s ability to outperform the competition in terms of quality and durability.  This is reflected through SCHOTT’s 20 year performance guarantee on its modules.

SCHOTT solar is aware of the high expectations of reliability and durability that users of photovoltaic systems have. With over 50 years of experience within the solar industry SCHOTT is able to achieve and sustain their position as the premium quality leader.

scott man walkingSCHOTT solar modules have many inherent advantages in terms of factors that contribute to durability, for example:

  • Manufacturing is highly automated, thus ensuring consistent high quality.
  • Strict quality controls are in place at all process levels in state-of-the-art production facilities.
  • SCHOTT only use high quality materials to manufacture products, which is sustained through continuous qualification and testing of suppliers.
  • SCHOTT solar power modules are designed to yield high energy per kilowatt of output installed. SCHOTT only use cells with matched output within one module. Low-voltage welding techniques and special bonding from SCHOTT’s automobile sector are employed.
  • SCHOTT’s modules are virtually maintenance-free as they contain no moving parts.
  • Independent studies prove that the embedded energy return period for photovoltaic modules made by SCHOTT Solar is less than 3 years. Modules made with EFG™ technology only need just over 2 years to recover their embedded energy

SCHOTT modules are tested and certified under insternational standards.  For example each ASE-module: Mechanical load test  5.400 Pascal (Pa) = 550 kg / m² .  This ensures the modules are tough and durable enough to withstand most challenges, natural or man made.
