Solgen Energy has been awarded the Leichhardt Municipal Council tender for the construction of a 20.085kW solar system at the Leichhardt Town Hall.
The solar system will demonstrate Leichhardt Municipal Council’s commitment to sustainable practices and set an example to the community of the benefits of renewable energy.
The site itself presents unique challenges which demand a highly tailored approach to design and installation due to the Town Hall being a heritage listed period building.
The finished installation is expected to generate 29.3MWh of electricity and offset 32.3 tonnes of carbon emissions each year.
The competitive tender process recognised Solgen Energy’s significant credentials as a commercial and industrial solar system integrator with experience across Australia.
