Wagga Wagga City Council has appointed Solgen Energy to install solar power across three sites in NSW.

Located in the Riverina district, Wagga Wagga is home to a number of beautiful landscapes and delicate ecosystems. As a result, Wagga Wagga City Council is committed to the principals of Ecologically Sustainable Development, and to increasing the sustainability of the City of Wagga Wagga.

The commissioning of the solar power systems at the Glenfield Community Centre, Wagga Wagga Senior Citizen’s Centre and the Ashmont Youth Hub will be a positive integration of renewable energy power. It will also help offset their energy consumption and cut down their CO2 emissions.

The agreement includes the design, installation and commissioning of the solar power systems.
