Solgen Energy has been awarded a contract to install solar power systems at several of Waverley City Council’s venues. The solar power project includes fitting photovoltaic systems to the Early Childhood Centres in Bondi, Bronte, Waverley and Gardiner.

These commercial scale solar power installations have been developed by Waverley City Council in an effort to look after future generations as it will reduce carbon emissions and generate onsite renewable solar electricity.

Solgen Energy will design, procure, engineer and construct the solar power systems to suit the needs of the different Childhood Centres. The four solar power systems will be installed using ET solar polycrystalline modules and SMA Solar Technology inverters. The combined systems will generate an expected 53Mwh of solar electricity per annum.
