SwanCare Group has appointed Solgen Energy to install a 100kW solar power system as part of its latest lifestyle apartment options aimed at providing quality retirement living with low running costs for Western Australians.
SwanCare Group has established itself as one of the leading providers of accommodation for the older generation. It was built on the foundation created by Dr Richard Cleaver, who wanted to provide affordable accommodation that was safe and secure while still allowing people to socialise and feel like they are part of a community.
SwanCare Group has recently unveiled its plan for 44 new architect-designed apartments that are currently being sold off the plan and expected to be completed in late 2016. A rooftop solar photovoltaic system is set to further reduce the energy consumption and running costs of the entire building.
Solgen Energy carried out a detailed analysis of the specifications and were able to provide a solar power solution that met the requirements of SwanCare Group’s objectives. The agreement includes the design, engineering, installation and commissioning of the solar power system.
