Stowe Electrical have appointed Solgen Energy to install a 17.5kW solar power system on the University of Sydney’s Queen Mary Building in Camperdown, NSW.
This commercial solar power system forms part of the University of Sydney’s revamp of the Queen Mary Building (QMB) to create a centre of student accommodation.
The Queen Mary Building also forms part of a number of projects initiated under the University’s Sustainable Framework. The Sustainability Framework aims to ensure the University’s built environment is resource efficient, operationally cost-effective and provides improved environmental, economic and social benefits to students, staff and surrounding communities. This includes the implementation of a solar PV system.
Stowe Australia is a leading electrical and communications installation and service contractor with a pre-eminent industry reputation for performance, quality and reliability. Solgen Energy has a continued relationship with the company and were able to meet their objectives with providing the solar power solution.
The agreement includes the design, engineering, installation and commissioning of the solar power system.
