Solgen Energy has been awarded the 95kW NSW Public Works Stoneyards solar power project.

The NSW Public Works Stoneyards is located in Alexandria and specialises in heritage services such as stonemasonry restoration, replacement and conservation. The objective of installing a solar power system at the Stoneyard is to generate savings in electricity expenditure, greenhouse gas emissions and represent the NSW Government’s commitment to improving the environmental performance of its facilities.

The project will consist of two separate photovoltaic systems providing a combined 95 kilowatt peak nominal rated capacity. A 70kW PV system will be installed on the Office Building, and a 25kW PV system will be installed on the Stone Cutting Shop.

Solgen Energy will provide the design, supply, installation and commissioning of the overall solar photovoltaic system.
