Solgen is the Number One Commercial Solar Company in Australia
Solgen Energy Group CEO, Mr David Brown, announced today that Solgen has been recognised as the largest commercial solar installation company in Australia. The market position was confirmed by independent solar energy consultancy SunWiz.
Mr Brown said, “I am proud of our team at Solgen which together have worked very hard to establish our business as the number one commercial solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business in the country.
“Over the last ten years through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions, we have built a business which now installs over 17 megawatts of renewable energy for our clients throughout Australia on an annual basis.
“Our business has grown quickly in an environment where organisations are looking for certainty around their energy costs against a background where energy prices continue to increase.
“Our in-house team of project managers and engineers across the country provide bespoke design solutions to meet our clients’ needs. Our technical capability combined with our direct relationship with component manufacturers ensures we can deliver quality, cost effective solar power solutions.
“We are seeing a shift in the market with businesses installing even larger on-site solar systems and looking to pair them with battery storage, not only to lower costs but also as a potential revenue stream from selling excess energy into the grid. Some of our commercial clients are also looking at solar farms and micro grids. Many installations are
falling into the “power station” category as we plan for projects with over 4 megawatts.
“Our clients are diverse and include shopping centres, wineries, airports, commercial warehouses, office buildings, schools, universities and industrial complexes.
“We see the renewable energy market continuing to grow and 2018 looks like another record year of demand for renewable energy solutions. Our objective is to provide superior end-to-end energy management solutions to commercial customers to help them better manage their energy requirements,” David said.
