As part of their commitment to the local community and to be a sustainable business, Earlyrise Baking Co contracted Solgen to design, engineer and construct a 100kW solar power system on bakery’s roof.
The solar power system will produce over 173MW of clean energy each year and help Earlyrise Baking Co to reduce their environmental footprint.
Key facts about the project:
|Client:||Earlyrise Baking Co|
|Date completed:||July 2014|
|Solar system peak capacity:||100kWp|
|Panels:||400 x ET Poly 250W|
|Green savings:||185 tonnes of emissions annually|
|Solar electricity generated:||173Mwh each year|
A business always thinking forward, Earlyrise Baking Co is planning on further upgrades to their facility aside from the installation of a solar electric system.
Solgen had to consider the bakery’s future requirements during the design of the solar power system. Our team of project managers were then tasked with realising the agreed design during the installation of the solar power system.
Taking into consideration Earlyrise Baking Co’s requirements for future roof installations, we carefully designed the entire system to defined exclusions zones. Flawless communication with the team of solar installers is always a prerequisite, however was even more important on this occasion to ensure future roofing upgrades were not compromised.
We also included an online solar monitoring system which enables Earlyrise Baking to view the output of the solar power system whenever they like.
