Having experienced the benefits of solar in their old practice, when it came time to move to a new office building, they decided to replicate their previous success and engaged Solgen Energy Group to design and install a solar power system for their new building before moving in.
The resulting 30kW system is forecast to reduce electricity costs annually by $12,000. With this sizeable return-on-investment it was cheaper for Western Clinic to finance a solar system than pay electricity bills every year, giving them a positive cash flow from day one.

Right from the beginning of the project, Solgen Energy Group worked with the client to ensure customer satisfaction and that the best possible system was implemented. The installation design included walkways in certain positions to allow for easy cleaning – as requested by the client – and top of the line Trina Honey 290w mono panels and an SMA Tripower inverter were also included for their durability and reliability in the extreme conditions of South Australia.
Installation took only 3 days and was overall a seamless process. Given renovations were taking place before installation, our consultants suggested to the client that these renovations include a floor to roof cavity in the wall with a conduit to be included. This ensured that wiring and cables would be out of sight and protected after installation – producing a tidy result for the customer.
