Solgen Energy was selected to deliver the 60kW Council Solar Power Project at the Swansea Centre operated by the Lake Macquarie City Council. The components chosen for this Solar Panel Installation were key to its successful implementation.
The Lake Macquarie City Council has a leading environment strategy to reduce its carbon emissions through a range of green initiatives. Solgen Energy developed and installed a tailored solution to optimise the solar system power output enabling Lake Macquarie City Council to further enhancing their green credentials.

This Council Solar Power Project presented a number of unique challenges, for which Solgen Energy was able to develop an innovative design and construction methodology. Some of the key challenges have been:
Solgen developed a symmetrical design that not only delivers high electricity yields but also visually blends in well with the complex roof structure. Shading issues were mitigated and an efficient string layout implemented.
Solgen assisted the council in large parts of the GCA negotiation process. Our client was presented with the completed agreement for final review and signature.
The Solar System Project demonstrates the ongoing commitment of the Lake Macquarie City Council to Green initiatives. The new solar power system simultaneously provided the Lake Macquarie City Council with immediate financial benefits and a sustainable long term carbon reduction providing a positive benefit to the environment.
