Solgen Energy Group is now in Darwin

Solgen Energy Group has expanded into Darwin, Northern Territory. The new location expands the company’s national presence and provides the Territory access to Solgen’s unmatched standards across design, engineering and project management.

“Solgen Energy Group was built on the vision to ‘enable solar power for everyone’. As a leading solar energy company, our knowledge and credentials underpin our capability to provide renewable solutions for government, businesses and homes across Australia,” said Solgen Energy Group Executive General Manager David Naismith.

“Northern Territory is more than our vision; it’s an up-and-running operation that, to date, has completed several successful projects in the area. Projects include wholesale food supplier Asian United Food Service and bedding manufacturer SlumberCorp.

The Northern Territory operation will be led by Commercial Sales Manager Dawn Payne, who says it was a logical development.

“The financial returns available from installing solar are higher than most other states and territories across Australia. This is because of the higher kilowatt per hour consumption cost,” Payne said. Solgen Energy Group wants companies and residents to understand their clean energy options.

“Having a presence in the area allows us to provide that vital face-to-face contact with clients to understand the challenges companies and residents face in the area. Our plan is simple, we want to ensure everyone is well-informed and understands what solar can do for them whether it’s through financial returns, meeting a sustainable target or maximing solar power yields.

Solgen are currently working on the Buku-Larrnggay Mulka Art Centre in Yirrkala, solar power project.
